But that's just a guess.
The key point is that you're not interested in the hardware configuration anyways.
Just recreate the hardware configuration for the rack you are using in Step 7 and you should be able to connect and, crucially, upload software blocks from the PLC back into Step7. When you're viewing the Blocks-folder (I believe it's called like that in the english UI), you should be able to switch to the Online-view an look at the program-blocks that are residing in the PLCs memory.
People here, me included, did this numerous times already when trying to identify some spooky compiler behaviour of earlier versions if TIA-Portal
(not that actual ones are that much better).
