Hallöchen hab gerade ein schreiben von Rockwell bekommen.

Ich finde das super das ausgänge einfach so auf 1 gehen und das heutzutage

und das beste zum schluss zum fehlerbeseitigen soll man das ding noch einschicken ( ist ja einfach atapter ausbauen anlage stehen lassen und auf urlaub gehen )

§ 1794-ASB, Remote I/O-Adaptermodul, Serie E, Firmware-Revision F
In diesem Schreiben finden Sie eine Beschreibung der Fehlfunktion sowie der erforderlichen Maßnahmen.
- Beschreibung des Problems -
Bei den 1794-ASB/E, Firmware-Revision F, im Folgenden als Remote I/O-Adaptermodul bezeichnet, besteht
die folgende Fehlfunktion:
Fehlfunktion – Wenn das Remote I/O-Adaptermodul hochgefahren wird, können die Ausgänge
vorübergehend eingeschaltet werden
Wenn das Remote I/O-Adaptermodul hochgefahren wird, können einige Ausgangsmodulpunkte vorübergehend
aktiviert werden. Die Ausgänge können für bis zu 100 ms EIN geschaltet werden, wenn das Remote I/OAdaptermodul
nicht mit dem Remote I/O-Scannermodul verbunden ist. Sie können für bis zu 500 ms EIN
geschaltet werden, wenn das Remote I/O-Adaptermodul mit dem Remote I/O-Scannermodul verbunden ist.
Die Ausgänge schalten sich AUS, nachdem sie vorübergehend aktiviert wurden, es sei denn, sie wurden durch
die Benutzerprogrammierung extern verriegelt; verriegelte Ausgänge verbleiben im EIN-Zustand. Diese

Fehlfunktion tritt nur beim Hochfahren des Remote I/O-Adaptermoduls auf und nicht bei normalem Betrieb.

Vielleicht ist das der dezente Hinweis endlich auf Controlnet umzusteigen.
Der Fehler tritt übrigens nur auf bei Modulen die in Gruppe 4 und größer betrieben werden.

Dear Rockwell Automation Customer,
The purpose of this Product Service Advisory is to inform you of a functional issue that exists with:
 1794-ASB, Remote I/O Adapter module, Series E, Firmware Revision F
This Advisory explains the functional issue and the steps being taken to rectify the situation.
- Problem Description -
With the 1794-ASB/E, Firmware Revision F, hereafter referred to as Remote I/O Adapter module, the following functional issue exists:

Functional Issue – When the Remote I/O Adapter Module Powers-Up Outputs May Momentarily Turn On
When the Remote I/O Adapter Module powers-up, some output module points may be energized momentarily. The outputs can turn ON for up to 100ms when the Remote I/O Adapter module is not connected to remote I/O and up to 500ms when the Remote I/O Adapter module is connected to remote I/O. The outputs turn OFF after being momentarily energized unless they are latched externally by user programming; latched outputs remain ON. This functional issue only occurs only on power-up of the Remote I/O Adapter module and not in normal operation.
IMPORTANT: This functional issue only affects FLEX I/O discrete output modules located in logical
slots 4-7 on the DIN rail. This functional issue does NOT affect modules in logical slots 0-3.
-Temporary Workarounds -
There are no temporary workarounds for this issue.
- Product Identification -
Product affected by this Mandatory Product Service Advisory includes 1794-ASB/E, Remote I/O Adapter module with the following series and firmware revision:
 1794-ASB, Remote I/O Adapter module, Series E, Firmware Revision F
 Rockwell Automation shipped the affected products between August 2004 and November 2004.
- Problem Correction -
 To correct this functional issue, the Remote I/O Adapter module’s firmware must be upgraded to the latest firmware revision or replaced with a new module that uses the upgraded firmware. The functional issue described above has been corrected in the following versions of the Remote I/O Adapter module:
 1794-ASB, Remote I/O Adapter module, Series E, Firmware Revision G
 IMPORTANT: The Remote I/O Adapter module must be returned to Rockwell Automation for a firmware upgrade. The firmware cannot be upgraded in the field.
 -Requested Customer Action-
 Each notified customer should take the following actions:
 Confirm that you have the affected products. 
 Immediately contact your local Rockwell Automation Sales and Support office to determine the appropriate course of action. Together, you and the local office will determine the correction for
your situation.
