Hello,

Firts sorry, but I dont speak German.
I need help about Power panel 45 part 4pp045.0571-K11. There isn't part XXX-K11, there are only XXX-042 and XXX-062. What type to choose for -K11 in B&R AS?

Hi,
K11 at the end means that the Panel is a costumer spefic Panel. If it's made for you, you can get the upgrade by log in in the upgrade dialog or on the Homepage. If the Panel is not made for your company I think you has to ask @ B&R or the Company the Panel is made for.

I have to renew the battery and I have to set date and time then .
I have only the compact flash card with the panel. Nothing else.
Can I connect to the Power Panel to adjust date and time?

Yes, ist possible.

If you have an Automation Studio Version >=3, then just create a project with a CPU (doesn't mather wih one exactly, you can use an other pp45). Connect to the PP45. In the Physical View make a right cklick on the CPU and choose "Online Info". In the Card Date/Time is it possible to the time and Date of the Target.
But Attention: Don't press Transfer project if you don't have the orginal AS Project! ( To set Time and Date is no Transfer of the project needed )

If you don't have the AS you can use the Runtime Utility Center (RUC) which you can get for free from B&R. (http://www.br-automation.com/de-at/downloads/#categories=software/automation-netpvi) The pvi development Setup includes the RUC.
There you can program a short pil. First must be Connect function, the second SetDateandTime function. After writing the pil, start it.

Often there is in the visualisation a function already implemented to set the Time an Date.

You can only create a New CF Card if you: have an Upgrade for the costumer spefic Panel at the AS.
If you only want to set the Time an Date on the Panel you don't have to create a new CF Card. When You create a new CF everthing on the CF what was there on, is gone. So, if you don't have the application running on the PP45 and you create burn your new Project on it, you lose the application.
If you doesn't mather, if this happen, you still Need the Upgrade for the AS.

Excuse me for me ignorance.
I have nothing except PP45, its CF card with application and an other empty card.
I don't know panel's IP.
I choose " identify contorl system online", but it can't .
If I understand right, I only need to create an empty project with known connection parameters in AS and then I can connect to PP45 and access "Info" tab. I don't need to compile those empty project in the other card. But what is IP of panel. For laptop I set IP 10.0.0.1 Sub 255.255.255.0, but how to configure PP45?
Sorry for a lot of questions, but I must known how to connect to panel without any damages.

identify contorl system online only works, when you have already an online Connection to the Panel.

Try this:

Ensure that der is a Ethernetcabel between your PC an the Panel (If you want to be sure take an cross over patch cable) and your PC ha a fix IP adress config. ( f.e. 192.168.178.99 annd SubNet 255.0.0.0) If You Change something restart the AS.

Create a new Project with a PP45. You don't have to config the IP Parameteres in the Ethernet Interface in the Project. the Project is only a dummy.

Then open the Onlinesettings ( Online / Settings) in the AS.

In the Onlinesettings there is a "Browse" Button. Press it. The Working Window should be splittet in to parts. If Your are lucky on the rightn part your PP45 is showen (after serching). If Yes, you see the IP Adress of the Panel.
If you have the IP Change the IP of your PC to the same Network. (Restart AS)
After that reopen the Onlinesettings, and search for Panels. Now the PP45 on the right side should be written complet in black. If Yes mark the line, rightklick, contect.
In the Button theres a Status bar, which now shold Show "RUN"

Then You can Change the time by Physicalviel / Online Info / Date/TIME.
