Factory Talk View Test Application startet nicht

Hallo,

ich habe eine Project eines Kollegen in Factory Talk View Studio 8.2 in den Ordner
C:\Users\Public\Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI projects kopiert.
Dies kann ich auch öffnen.
Wenn ich Test Application mache, erstellt er die Runtime, aber öffnet dies nicht.
Bei einem vorherigen Projekt funktioniert das problemlos.

Es kommt folgende Meldung im Messagefeld unten.

Shortcut "altes Projekt" is not usable: the device "altes Projekt" is not available,
error=$8004E209

"altes Projekt" ist das Vorgängerprojekt, das aber nirgends zu finden ist.

Die Applikation kopiert man nicht einfach irgendwo hin. Dazu gibt es in der Software unter "Tools" Application" eine "Backup" und "Restore" Funktion.
 
Falls du mit Filensmen die Dateiendung meinst: APA, FT View Archive File

Das ist im Prinzip ein ZIP, enthält aber mehr als nur den Ordner den du kopiert hast.

Ja, man macht über die Software ein Backup und stellt dieses auch wieder über die Software her.

Eine Schulung kann nicht schaden.
 
Eine Schulung hatte ich 2017, leider danach nur einnkleines Projekt und dann nix mehr.
Bin jetzt in einer anderen Firma und habe keinen Zugriff mehr auf meine Schlungsunterlagen.

Some of the project information can be recovered from the procedure below, however the following cannot be recovered:


  • Parameter files
  • Alarm Setup
  • Datalog files
  • Macro files
  • RSLinx Enterprise shortcut information

Hallo,

das Grundproblem ist, dass das Backup des Projects nicht funktioniert. Es kommt immer die Meldung,
dass der Ordner nicht erstellt werden kann.

Ich habe auch testweise den Ordner C:\Factory_Talk_temp angelegt auch da kommt die gleiche Meldung.
Den Applicatione Manager habe ich auch ohne Factory Talk direkt als Admin gestartet, ist das Gleiche.

Von einem anderen vergleichbaren Project kann ich ein Backup erstellen, muss also am Project liegen.

Gibt es da irgendwas im Project, was eingestellt werden muss ?

Solution
Cause 1
HMI application files are still open elsewhere in other processes.

Solution 1
Close FactoryTalk View Studio and try again. If that does not help then reboot the PC and try again.

Cause 2
FactoryTalk Linx / RSLinx Enterprise is not installed or the wrong version is installed.

Solution 2
Verify that FactoryTalk Linx / RSLinx Enterprise is installed on the PC.

If FactoryTalk Linx / RSLinx Enterprise is installed, verify the installed version is compatible with the current version of FactoryTalk View ME install. If you are not sure of the exact version, you can use the CPRx SRx version. FactoryTalk Linx / RSLinx Enterprise CPRx SRx version must match or be higher than FactoryTalk View Machine Edition.

Cause 3
Application name is greater than 32 characters.

Solution 3
Verify the name of the application and use the Application Manager to Rename it, or Copy it to a different name.

Cause 4
The applications’s HMI Project files are missing and/or there are files that have invalid characters in their names.

Solution 4
Verify that your HMI project files are intact by going to the following locations:

For Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 /10:
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI Projects\<your project name>\

For Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI projects\<your project name>\
Note: Also within your HMI project folder and its subfolders, verify there are no file names with special characters (-, !, @, #, etc...).

Cause 5
Possible corruption with HMI project application files.

Solution 5
Import your project’s .MED into a new file name/space.

Please refer to QA4581 - Import FactoryTalk View ME Application (.MED) into FactoryTalk View ME.

Cause 6
The HMI project’s TAG folder has duplicate files with different application name.

Solution 6
Verify that the ME project does have correct files in its TAG folder.

The below screenshot is from a demo app called InstantFizz_ME which has the correct listing of its TAG folder.

For Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 /10:
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI projects\<your project name>\TAG

For Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI projects\<your project name>\TAG

Delete any files that do not have the correct name as your HMI Project folder name.
Delete any files that end with .CAC file extension.
Go back to your HMI project folder and delete the Cache folder.
Reboot the PC and try to create an APA file.
Cause 7
Corrupted PrivateDirectory folder.

Solution 7
Delete the PrivateDirectory folder as shown below.

Note: Deleting the PrivateDirectory folder scrambles Runtime Security and removes the FactoryTalk Linx / RSLinx Enterprise device shortcut configuration. Both will have to be reconfigured.

For Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10:
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI Projects\<name of project>\PrivateDirectory

For Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\RSView Enterprise\ME\HMI Projects\<name of project>\PrivateDirectory

Once the folder is deleted the application can be opened and the PrivateDirectory folder will be re-created.

Cause 8
Corrupted project directory

Solution 8
Run the ResDir Utility following technote: BF24628 - FactoryTalk View Studio: Restore Directory (ResDir) Utility.
 
Es scheint diese Ursache zu sein. Leider haben wir schon verschiedenes inklusive der
darunter stehenden Lösung erfolglos versucht.
Cause 1

Wenn die Lösung zur Fehlermöglichkeit 1 nicht funktioniert wird es wohl nicht die Fehlermöglichkeit 1 sein sondern vielleicht eine der anderen 7. Da musst du eine nach der anderen probieren.
 
Also soweit ich das weis können die Projekte schon einfach so kopiert werden, zumindest wenn diese auch aus einem HMI Projekte Ordner kommen.
Dieser Ordner wird bei mir regelmäßig gesichert und kann auch ohne Probleme wieder zurück kopiert werden.
So wie ich das verstehe ist ja das öffnen des Projektes kein Problem nur ausführen der Runtime.
Wie ist es denn wenn du die Runtime normal erstellst und dann mit Doppelklick darauf ausführst?
Version 8.2 ist ja auch schon ziemlich alt möglicherweise hat dein Kollege das Programm in einer neueren Version erstellt.
Bei mir war auch RS Linx schon mal so veraltet dass ich keine Runtimes erstellen konnte bzw. keinen Kommunikationspfad einstellen konnte.

ja. das mit dem Kopieren in den Ordner scheint zu funktionieren.
Mit FT V12 ging dann auch die Runtime.
Mich ärgert nur, das der App Manager viele gute Funktionen hat,z.B. kopieren, umbenennen etc.
und jedes mal kommt eine Meldung, dass das Projekt noch geöffnet ist.
auch, wenn ich den FT App Manager mit neu gestartetem WIN allene öffne, also vorher gar kein
Projekt geöffnet war.
