I am using a B&R SG3, trying to run some servo motors in NC software (automation studio ACP10), just to be sure of initialization of encoders and some movement tests.
When identifying the motor in creation project step, you have a choice for "read motor data from encoder memory or no motor", and apparently some EnDat encoders memory can be read by B@R.
The question is do I need execute some commands in NC software in order to get motor parameters from encoder memory (and which) , or the controller do it by itself immediately after switching on?
