Hi!
We were just asked for an offer of a 12kA/690VAC single phase thyristor controller. Our familiar providers (ABB, AEG, Eurotherm) manages up to 4kA.
Has anyone of you a tip if there are other makers that can cope?

Hi!
It's a kind of melting furnace. The clue is to have a much bigger adjustment span than you can manage with a ordinary step-controlled trafo. If we could use DC, such currents would be commonly available. But the customer wants AC.
