Hi everybody !
I am looking for information about Trutzschler Communication Network ( TKN or TKN-2 )
used by Trutzschler Company in their machines . Why ? Because We have several old machines
from Trutzschler built in 2000 year and they are connected via this network . There is one old Simatic
S5-115U PLC with communication card " SB1 from Trutzschler" and several "Trutzschler" PLC consist of
ZPB3 card and I/O cards . In case of failure one of these unit we will have big problem .
So , the first step is to replace Simatic S5 to Simatic S7 and that is why I need information about TKN network
and this SB1 card . I have to know the protocol of communication . I have uploaded the program from S5 and now
I try to study it . It would be nice to know something about this Trutzschler PLC ( ZPB3 card and I/O cards ) .
