Hello

I have a project where the customer want's to weight a product.
I have a ILC131 in the control panel, and i'm thinking of adding a IB IL SGI 2/P-PAC - 2884907 to do the job.

But i don't know if the module is precise enough in this project.
The customer wants the scale to be 0-100kg but, accuracy less than 5g.
The complete weight unit is about 80kg emty. so i have a total maximum atbout 180kg.
If i take 3 load cells of 100kg will it measure 300kg total/50.000 (15bit) = 6g/bit?
It's over the 5g limit, but is it possible to correct the function block so it only measure 0-100kg = 2g/bit

Hello Emil,

as it might be theoretically possible to change the data the function block is getting to get it to work from 0-100kg, the accuracy the customer is demanding can't be reached with this module.
As you can see in the datasheet the typical deviation of the module is 0,01% to 0,05% maximum in an optimal environment.

Thanks. I have not noticed that in the datasheet.

I think the solution will be to have an external weight, with an RS485 ore something like that.
