Hello,

Quick question. Which port Terminal for TCP/IP can save received data into csv or some other file? I have 2D laser with Ethernet connection. I would like to send a few measuring requests and save received data directly into .csv,.txt, xml... So i can analysed later.

I was looking into Hercules but do not see the option.

It is not a problem of a specific port, you need a piece of software that is doing this job (saving received data into a file).
Ask the manufacturer of the laser, if he has one. If not, you need to know not only the port, also the protocol of the laser. Is the laser server (waiting for clients to connect and ask the required data) or does the laser send the data without request?
