Hello,

Sorry but i don't speak germain. If it's possible, can you give your answer in english, italian or french please?

I work on Simatic S317-2DP. I would like to charge my cpu with the program Buddy for S7 ( you can see it hier: http://www.mhj-software.com/de/Buddy/BUDdy.htm)

I don't arrive to communicate with my PLC.

When i try with Com Port, a pop up say: "Error MPI adress"
When i try with Netlink, the pop up say: "Impossible to connect with PLC"

But when i try with Simatic Manager7, all is ready.

Can you give me a solution or a program equivalent of Buddy?

Hello PhoeniX,

what kind of adapter is in use?
It will only works with Seriell oder Net-Link.

You can try another tool , called PG Agent from http://www.berthel-online.de

Hello,
can it be the CPU317 ? Has this CPU an architectur like the 400er series?
The 400er are not suportet by this Software.
Do you have an other CPU like 315 or so on?

nur die CPU 318 basiert auf 400er Architektur, alle anderen (auch 317) sind reine 300er Architektur. bei der 319 bin ich mir nicht sicher

Can you give me a solution or a program equivalent of Buddy?

The only equivalent program I know S7-Backup/Restore from Deltalogic. But this Software is no Freeware, it costs 119 EUR.
