Hallo miteinander,

"Remigration" via download to PLC from TIA Portal and next upload station to Step7 V5.5 it is impossible, me. I am tried here, last picture:

http://www.blaja.cz/plc-automaty/simatic-s7-315-pn-dp-s-et200s-v-tia-portal.html

But it is interesting thought :p

And that interesting thought does indeed work.

Howerver, as you've experienced yourself, TIA-Portal seems to create a hardware configuration which cannot be uploaded to Step7.
I guess there's some version information somewhere within the SDBs and Step7 is all like... "Meh.. don't wanna".
But that's just a guess.

The key point is that you're not interested in the hardware configuration anyways.

Just recreate the hardware configuration for the rack you are using in Step 7 and you should be able to connect and, crucially, upload software blocks from the PLC back into Step7. When you're viewing the Blocks-folder (I believe it's called like that in the english UI), you should be able to switch to the Online-view an look at the program-blocks that are residing in the PLCs memory.

People here, me included, did this numerous times already when trying to identify some spooky compiler behaviour of earlier versions if TIA-Portal
(not that actual ones are that much better).
