Hallo,

I want to add this PN to my Step7 v5.7 : 6FC5371-0AA30-0AB0 [SINUMERIK NCU 710.3B PN with PLC317-3PN/DP]

After installing Step7 v5.7 SP1 and the SINUMERIK Toolbox for Step7, i didn’t found the card above listed in the Hardware Catalog in Simatic Manager.

What I found listed in the hardware catalog are:

6FC5 371-0AA30-0Axx [SINUMERIK NCU710.3B PN with PLC317F-3PN/DP (firmware V3.2)

6FC5 371-0AA30-0Axx [SINUMERIK NCU710.3B PN with PLC317F-3PN/DP (firmware V3.2+)

Please help.

And the problem is? xx is a placeholder / wildcard. The 0AB0 also has a failsafe CPU

The problem is the difference between the 2 ref. the one on the component and the one in HW catalog.
If i understand 6FC5371-0AA30-0AB0 [SINUMERIK NCU 710.3B PN with PLC317-3PN/DP] = 6FC5 371-0AA30-0Axx [SINUMERIK NCU710.3B PN with PLC317F-3PN/DP (firmware V3.2) on Simatic?

I have a 6FC5371-0AA30-0AB0 in use. It is configured as 6FC5371-0AA30-0Axx ( V3.2+ )

No, V5.5 SP4 HF11

The version of add-on SINUMERIK i have is for v5.5 but should work for higher version (v5.7 which i have) i guess?

Since I don't know which Toolbox version you have, I can't tell you. There is a compatibility tool from Siemens. You can check it there

With Windows 10 you can use Step7 V5.6 HF4 or higher. With Windows 7 V5.5 SP4 HF9 or higher.
