Hallo,

ich benötige dringen die Software, welche mit SLC 5/04 kompatible ist und das passende Kabel. Leider finde ich im Inet weder die Software noch das Kabel. Bzw. ich schon etwas aber die Preise liegen zwischen 1000-5000 ich kann es nicht einschätzen, weil ich die unterschiede nicht kenne. Kann mir da jemend mit ein Rat helfen?

Ich habe gelesen, dass die RSLogicx 500 dazu passen müsste gibt es dazu Alternativen?

"RSLogix 500" wäre richtig. Nicht "Micro" und nicht "Starter" Varianten.

Was hast du vor ? Eventuell können wir helfen (ausser RSLogix 500 zusenden !).

All I have is a USB port on my computer, how do I communicate with a SLC 5/04?


Answer

The SLC 5/04 processor can communicate either DF1, DH-485 or Data Highway Plus.

If trying to connect to the RS-232 port on the processor will need to first need to confirm that channel 0 is a DF1 or DH-485. Can verify this by looking in the offline program file that is currently in the processor.

If the protocol is DF1 for channel 0, then can use the 9300-USBS or 9300-USBCBL-ABHR with the 1747-CP3 cable:

• In RSLinx Classic configure the RS-232, DF1 driver

If the protocol is DH-485 for channel 0, then can use the 1747-UIC with the 1747-CP3 cable:

• In RSLinx Classic configure the DH-485, UIC devices driver

If the processor is communicating on Data Highway Plus then can connect using the 1747-U2DHP:

• In RSLinx Classic configure the 1784-U2DHP for Data Highway Plus driver
