Are IBS ST 24 BK-T and IBS IL 24 BK-T/U PAC interchangeable?

Hello everyone,

We have pretty long serial topology based on IBS ST 24 BK-T modules, which are probably already phased out.
In case if one of IBS ST 24 BK-T will someday die, whether will IBS IL 24 BK-T/U PAC replace that failed module?
So I wonder, if IBS ST 24 BK-T and IBS IL 24 BK-T/U PAC are interchangeable.
Also, I'm interested in all side effects which will be able to occur, if they are interchangeable.

Godness, does that mean that entire topology must be replaced with newer IBS IL 24 BK-T/U PAC?

Hi,

IBS ST 24 BK-T - 2754341 is still available and not planned to be discontinued.
An exchange against an IBS IL 24 BK-T / U PAC is not possible without also exchanging the local bus for the bus head because the interfaces to the local bus are completely different.
