Hello to all,
I am new to plc data reading , please help
Actually i want to download the PLC data i.e all memory address from S7 313C PLC to my laptop
1. I want to ask one question from all of you, is this possible to take the data or read all memory address from S7 313C PLC when PLC is in run mode and i dont want to stop the PLC
2. And there is any possibility that during plc is in run mode and we are taking data the plc goes into stop mode.

yes it is possible to read the PLC Data in Run-Mode.
Usual you can not stop the PLC if you are only reading the data.

1. Yes, that's possible.
2. Usually not, but I already had CPU 315-2DP, where the CPU went into stop because of firmware errors.

PS:
And in rare/worst case the cpu may go into stop because of the cycle time increase due to the communication.

What else might happen still bad?
- If there are other communication partners on the MPI or Profibus, the communication could be (short time) disturbed when the programming adapter is plugged onto the fieldbus, and the CPU could go into stop
- When plugging in the programming adapter, there could be an electrostatic discharge that destroys the CPU interface or the CPU (very unlikely but possible)
