WinCC ProTool -> WinCC 2008 SP2 -> TIA Portal Migration

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin momentan daran sehr alte Projekte auf neue Versionen zu migrieren.
Dafür habe ich den Migrationsleitfaden von Siemens als Vorlage verwendet.

Für mich ist nicht ganz ersichtlich wie genau die Migration funktioniert und würde deswegen gerne auf eure Erfahrungswerte setzen.

Der erste Schritt hat einwandfrei funktioniert, ich konnte in meiner WinXP VM ProTool und WinCC 2008 SP2 installieren und das Projekt migrieren.
Nun möchte ich dieses WinCC Projekt in TIA Portal V18 weiter migrieren.

Verstehe ich es richtig dass ich das Projekt zuerst in WinCC 2008 SP5 migrieren muss, danach in TIA Portal V15.1 und dann noch weiter in TIA Portal V18?
Oder gibt es dafür eine andere Vorgehensweise?

Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar.

sollte ohne wincc 2008 sp5 gehen, am besten mit dem migrationstool
abhängig vom verwendeten HMI musst du erst in winccflex das gerät tauschen oder eine TIA <V15 nehmen und dann dort auf neueren panel type wechseln und das dann in v18 hochrüsten

Alles klar, dann werde ich das versuchen, wollte im zuerst vermeiden noch eine zusätzliche TIA Version nachzuinstallieren.

HMI in WinCC wurde bereits ein ein KTP getauscht. Aber dann war ich mit der Annahme richtig eine niedrigere TIA Version zuerst zu verwenden.

Ich habe diese Woche zufällig auch eine Migration von Protool nach TIA gemacht.
Ich habe ein VM mit Protool, STEP7 V5 und WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3, damit ich alte Protool Projekte migrieren kann.

Das sind meine Notizen:

Task: Migrate existing Protool program for OP25, OP27 or OP270 to TIA Portal V15.1 for KP700 Comfort Panel.

Required:

• Protool software
• WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 or WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3.
• Protool migration must be installed in WinCC Flexible.
• TIA Portal V14.
• WinCC Flexible migration must be installed in TIA Portal V14.
• TIA Portal V15.1.

Notes:

• Migration of Protool projects is only possible in WinCC Flexible up to version 2008 SP3.
• Migration up to TIA version V14 is possible for HMI projects made with WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 or 2008 SP3 or 2008 SP5.
• Take note of the screen resolution changes at the various migration or conversion steps. It is recommended to not use the ‘fit to screen resolution’ as this will generate distorted graphics. Circles become ovals for example. Instead, select the conversion factor that fits the graphics to the available screen area. Following the conversion, it will still be necessary to touch up on the various screen elements.
• Some serial protocols that use RS232 or TTY require adapters to connect to the RS485 port in the KP700 panel.
• Some drivers that were used in OP25 or OP27 are not possible in the latest KP700 version.
• Allen Bradley DF1 driver up to version 1.7 must be migrated to version 2.5 in Protool. Some program changes may be necessary.
• Siemens AS511 is not supported in TIA V15.1 or higher. Consider migrating to a PC based (WinCC Advanced runtime) solution. The AS511 driver is still supported in WinCC Advanced runtime.
• Other solutions involve using 3rd party gateways.
• When migrating a Protool or WinCC Flexible program that uses AB DF1 driver, the migration tends to select the PLC type as PLC5, no matter that the PLC in the original project is SLC500. Manually check and correct the PLC type.

Procedure:

• If the program is for OP25 or OP27, convert to OP270 in Protool.
• In WinCC Flexible 2008SP2 or 2008SP3, migrate the Protool OP270 program.
• In WinCC Flexible 2008SP2 or 2008SP3, convert the migrated OP270 program to MP277-8.
• In WinCC Flexible 2008SP2 or 2008SP3, compile (rebuild all) the MP277-8 program. Resolve any errors that are reported by the compiler.
• In TIA V14, migrate the WinCC Flexible MP277-8 program.
• In TIA V14, convert the MP270-8 program to KP700.
• In TIA V14, compile the KP700 program (hardware all and software all). Resolve any errors that are reported by the compiler.
• In TIA V15.1, open the TIA V14 KP700 program. Compile (hardware all and software all).
