SNMP Traps on a CX controller

I need to collect SNMP traps with my PLC (running win CE), since it's the only common comunication protocol with all the devices in my system, then I need to send a single SNMP trap from the controller to higher level. Beckhoff SNMP library will only send traps, so i was thinking about some other solution, like programming some application in the background that acts as a server, collects the apps, and then somehow the controller can use this values and send them back. Hope i can get some help
