Hello everyone,
could anyone explain? How do words relate to PCP?
There are many variants there:
0 Words + 4 PCP
2 Words + 4 PCP
4 Words + 4 PCP
or
0 Words + 1 PCP
2 Words + 1 PCP
4 Words + 1 PCP
and so on...
I mean that, for example, if I need on plc side 4 Words to get readable I select 4 Words. That's clear.
So what about interbus side? For example, Remote module gets from device PCD0, PCD1, PCD2, PCD3. Physically it equals to Word.
PCD = Word.
Does it mean that I have to select four PCPs? Or? What does PCP basically mean? Apart from its abbreviation "Peripheral communication protocol"
that says me nothing useful.
Thanks in advance!
