B&R HMI panel cannot be simulated

Hello everyone,

I am working with the B&R PLC CP 1583. I am trying to program the HMI panel. When I try to simulate in BR automation studio its saying( Hardware module 6PPT30.101G-20B cannot be simulated).

1. please help me solve this issue
2. When I try to load my HMI pages to HMI panel its not responding at all.

Some one please write me some advice.

It is only possible to simulate new Hardware. For older Hardware it is necesary to build a duplicate configuration only for simulation, but this is not a simple task. Please contact the B&R Helpline for help.

Thanks for the info!

I have red somewhere the simulation error is for the hardware buttons i used in hmi.

I cleared that error and Now I cannot able to transfer my hmi pages to the HMI target display. The automation studio is saying its transferred the hmi pages to the target. but i can see no changes in hmi display.
please write me if you have any idea about it.

Restart the HMI, restart the PLC.

I thought, the HMI is calculated on the PLC not on the HMI-device. You have to update both devices.
But maybe I'm wrong.

Okay, I will try to do that. Do you know is there any B&R plc forums or any kind of discussion regarding B&R?
