DP/ Universell DP (FMS)

Zitat von https://support.industry.siemens.co...-dp-standard-universal-and-user-defined/19851
DP, is the bus parameter set for the use with PROFIBUS DP alone. This means that this parameter set is so hard that each node that would try to do something else than DP could run into problems. If you want to do PG, HMI,FMS or FDL I would recommend using a different set.

Standard, is being used if you have a PROFIBUS ASIC of the latest versions. It is still a fast set but flexible enough to have PG, HMI or FDL as well as DP on the Bus.

Universal,is a set that allows also the use ofFMS with all other protocols on the samebus.

User-defined, if you havevery slow nodes on the bus that would not work with Universal you can manually set the bus parameters in the user-defined version. If you have a complex system and you have to use calculated bus parameters than you can set these up in here too.
