Help Needed: Missing Source Archive on Modicon M262M35

Hello, I'm trying to upload a project from a Modicon M262M35 using Machine Expert, but I'm getting the "No source archive available on the PLC" error. I don't have the original source code.

Is it possible to recover the program in any way, or is it permanently "read-only" for me? So, if I take a full backup via SD Card/Web Server, will it be useful for future hardware replacement?

Hello,

you could not upload the source code from a CODESYS based plc (in your case the M262) when it has not been stored before on the plc with "source Download"


You have only the possibility to make a backup of the compiled application. with a copy of the SD card to "clone" the plc

Hello, use in MachineExpert "Tools" and select the "Controller Assistant" with this tool you could create backups of you PLC and of the SD card .
