Hello, Dear experts.
first introduce my self.
I'm kim and korean plc engineer. working in over around 10 years. (8 years working in Siemens SI partner of Korea company)
And now working in company but looking for shift to another compnay. somebody hire me? haha
Anayway I hope to improve my knowledge about siemens plc in here SPS.
I'm prepare to new project with S7-1500F and S120 drives. I really wonder how to choose correct CPU and how to sizing CPU?
Machine is coil blanking line.
I finished 5 years ago similar machine with S7-300F and S120 drives. Install location is china.
System configurations is 3 F-CPU (entry parts, press, exit parts), 2 CU320-2 and 1 D435 (10 drives), Profinet encoder around 70 pieces.
That time I was junior engineer, so I'm not sure clearly about that.
But that time my senior engineer go out of the company, so I should to leading the project alone.
So.. I did installing with local peoples and commissioning alone in china with around 2 years.
And 2 years ago I did again also finished similar machine with S7-1500TF and S120 drives. Install location is Indonesia.
Just different cpu quantity. That project use to 2 CPU. line control parts 1 cpu, press parts 1 cpu, And without D435, use to 1500TF plc cpu.
That project I designed and install and comissioning everything with my feeling and experience with Sizer and TIA selection tool.
Machine is fine and running and during in production but I'm not satisfying.
So this time I want to know about sizing the CPU clearly.
Could you somebody please give me tip or advice for me?
